Boy or Girl?

I have returned from my latest work excursion and I am so exited I cannot contain myself. Today is the day we find out whether we are having a boy or a girl. For some reason people believe that I must favour one over the other but in truth all I care about is that I have a healthy baby.

I am however still exited as knowing the sex of the baby represents another milestone in the development of our baby and in my journey to being a babydaddy. The first was off course the pregnancy test, then followed the confirmation by our GP and the sonar which all confirmed the existence of our little miracle.

Today is about more than knowing whether our baby needs blue or pink pyjamas, it will be the first time we will be able to hear our babies heartbeat, we will see our baby move and just confirm that everything is still on track. As excited as I am I want one thing from today and that is to know that our child is healthy.
